****Synergy Volume 1***** The 2008 inter-uni hip hop circuit kicks off with Synergy Vol. 1, the only event that merges USyd, UNSW, UWS, UTS and Macquarie together for a night of competition and link-up. It will be held at the Manning Bar, Level 3, Manning House USyd on August 13 from 6.30pm - 10.30pm. Entry is free! The night will feature the inaugural Inter-Uni 2 on 2 All-Styles Battle. Teams must be from same university and possess a current student ID card. $4 entry per team. Judges: - Michael (Founder of D2MG, Nu Skool Club) - Hip Hop
- Leo (Shamrock, Lock Co Step) - Funkstyles
- Martin (Hybrid Formz) - Breaking
Also on the night: - Showcases from D2MG (UNSW), Soulxpress (Usyd), MDA (Macquarie) and UWS.
- OPEN BATTLE - For the alumni and other dancers coming down, we've got an open floor session just for you to throwdown and lay out your best moves.

This Friday, D2MG will begin its special performance course (by invitation only) taught by Trina and Leo. The course will consist of Hip Hop, Punking, Waacking and House. Performances are for Inter-Uni battles on the 13th August (sneak preview) and a full performance at Looze Control Dance Competition National Finals, August 30th. Watch out for more performance courses to come!

The courses at UNSW for Semester 2, 2008 have been finalised. Book before the 27th July for 10% off the course fees! UNSW Sports Association (8-week courses): Monday (Semester 2, 2008)
- 5-6pm | Hip Hop (Lenny) - UNSW Dance Studios
- 6.30-7.30pm | Street Jazz (Jessica) - UNSW Dance Studios
Wednesday (Semester 2, 2008)
- 4-5pm | Breaking (Johann) - UNSW Fitness Studio
Friday (Semester 2, 2008)- 4-5pm | Hip Hop (Pania) - UNSW Fitness Studio

Lenny will be away for the next three weeks and Pauler will be teaching his Beginner Hip Hop classes on Mondays 7-8pm on June 30, July 7 and 14th. Bboy Dany will now be our regular Breaking Intermediate instructor on Wednesday 8-9pm. Say hola!
